Access Sport and Pulse Social

Inclusive multi sports sessions for D/deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent children and young people aged 10-17. The sessions focus on fun, inclusive games and activities, with a variety of sports and activities including boccia, dodgeball, multi sports.

Sessions are adapted to each young person’s needs.

Sessions cost £5 per child

Weekly sessions (term time only) will take place Tuesdays 5:00pm – 6:00pm, commencing Tuesday 28th March 2023

Building Buddies

Activities

Building Buddies offers a fun, caring, safe and supportive environment for children with moderate to low support needs. Our staff are highly trained and will encourage your child to take part in a range of activities. We offer structured play, a stimulating sensory room, messy play, a large playroom for lots of fun and games as well as a garden with outdoor toys.

Early Years

Activities

Early Years’ project offers specialist stay and play sessions, where children can explore stimulating equipment including the sensory room. Parents have the opportunity to speak to other parents.

Each session has a particular focus such as communication, mobility, peer interaction.

Empire age 11 to 18

Activities

A club for young people who have moderate support needs. Activities are based on what the young people choose and enjoy. Nerf battles, crafts, karaoke, quizzes, darts movie nights and trips out are just some of the things you can do. So if you’re 11 to 18 come along to Empire and meet some new friends who may like to do similar activities to you.

Holiday schemes age 5 to 11

Activities

Holiday Schemes are for children with severe and profound disabilities aged 5 to 11 years who meet the criteria of the Children with Disabilities Service including those who require a higher level of support or with complex medical conditions. 

Staff are highly trained and will encourage your child to take part in a range of activities including art and messy play, active play (bouncy castles, soft play, outdoor toys), games, water play, as well as quiet time in our sensory room.

Activities

Holiday Schemes are for children with severe and profound disabilities aged up to 18 years who meet the criteria of the Children with Disabilities Service including those who require a higher level of support or with complex medical conditions. They run each school holiday (except Christmas).

Staff are highly trained and will encourage your child to take part in a range of fun and varied activities including sensory play, indoor and outdoor games, craft making, bouncy castle, sports, nerf wars, specialist coaching or activities (such as Science Museum, sports coach or entertainer visits).

My Time Youth Club age 11 to 18

Activities

My Time is a Youth Club for young people with severe and profound disabilities aged 11 to 18 years who meet the criteria of the Children with Disabilities Service including those who require a higher level of support or with complex medical conditions.

Activity

This is a Snap dedicated session and although Snap staff is present, this is a free play session and parents have to stay.

A club for young adults who have moderate support needs. Activities are based on what the young people choose and enjoy. Meals out, fireworks, BBQ, games, trips to the pub and discos there’s something for everyone at Vibe. So if you’re 18 to 25 come along to Vibe to chill out, play games and spend some time doing something you want to do.
