What is the London Youth Games (LYG)?
The LYG is a London-wide competition where young people from across the city can compete to become the best. Teams and individuals take part in qualifiers and finals to be crowned champions. The competition starts in November with Cross Country and ends in July with a series of sports being played across the weekend.
You can compete in sports such as football, cricket, badminton, BMX, swimming, sailing, judo, and tennis to name a few. There are wonderful volunteering opportunities and a real sense of community in taking part.
The LYG gives the opportunity for young people to learn a new sport, and compete against peers in a high-level platform in world-class venues.
