Request a building control inspection

Use this service to:

Request an inspection to ensure your building work meets the requirements of the Building Regulations. Our site inspectors ensure that your work meets minimum standards by visiting the site regularly. Where your Building Notice or Full Plans application was made on or after 1 October 2023, prior to making a final inspection request a Notification of Completion must be submitted. A completion inspection request cannot be fulfilled until the Completion Notice has been submitted.

Completion of the below form takes around 4 minutes.

Before you start

We do not do inspections:

• same-day
• on weekends
• on bank holidays

Requests for next day inspections must be submitted before 4pm. 

Once your request has been submitted our inspections team will be in contact to confirm that the inspection has been booked.
