Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week in Bexley

Image with words 'ASB Awareness Week' and dates 30 June to 6 July.

Next week (30 June to 6 July) is national Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week.

Organised by Resolve UK, who are the UK's leading experts in tackling anti-social behaviour and enhancing community safety, the week is an opportunity to raise awareness of what anti-social behaviour is, the reporting processes and the local and national support available.

The themes for this year are:

  • guaranteed support for victims of ASB
  • resolve delays in the Justice System
  • one single, national Information Sharing Agreement
  • make it easier to report ASB

Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing, Cllr Brian Bishop said:

As much as we all wish that ASB did not exist – it does, in various forms and this week is our opportunity to share the ways people can report and identify the different forms of ASB and where they can get support.

Bexley’s Community Safety Partnership regularly focuses on the themes outlined by this week. We do that by sharing relevant information and working closely together.

We have recently improved our ASB reporting process online and made it clearer that different agencies report different ASB matters.

If you have an interest in community safety or ASB, join one of the webinars or get in touch with our community safety team to find out how we could help. Together we are #MakingCommunitiesSafer”
