So far in 2023, there have been 54 Asian hornet nests found in 44 locations. While most of the nests have been found in Kent, there have been several sightings confirmed in Thamesmead.

Nests have been found in other London areas, as well as Devon, Dorset, East Sussex, East Yorkshire, Essex, Hampshire, North Yorkshire and Surrey.

Any suspected sightings should ideally be reported with a photograph via the Asian hornet watch app or the online reporting form. All sightings should be reported as instructed.
