Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2024

Belvedere Road, Bexleyheath - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable a new connection by Compass Infrastructure on behalf of UK Power Networks they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Prohibition of vehicular traffic (road closure) in Belvedere Road Junction of Church Road Bexleyheath to Long Lane Bexleyheath in phases when required
    • Prohibition of vehicular traffic (road closure) in Bedonwell Road to junction of Long Lane to Dunwich Road
    • Banned turning movements preventing ingress and egress of Belvedere Road, Bexleyheath at the following junctions:
      • Upland Road, Bexleyheath
      • Haslemere Road, Bexleyheath
      • Nursery Avenue, Bexleyheath
      • Grace Avenue, Bexleyheath
      • Fairfield Road, Bexleyheath
      • Sheldon Road, Bexleyheath
  2. The Order will come into effect on 9 May 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 30 days.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,Belvedere Road – Long Lane -Erith Road – Mayplace Road West – Arnsberg Way – Broadway- Church Road
    1. Local diversions will be signposted
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable a new water connection by Morrison Water Services on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • No waiting no loading  (parking restrictions) outside 1 to 5 and 6 to 12C Durham Road, Sidcup
  2. The Order will come into effect on 13 May 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 7 working days
  3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be available
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

Cambria Close, Sidcup - Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable a mains service connection by Morrisons water services on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
    • Prohibition of vehicular traffic (road closure) of Cambria Close, Sidcup
          Access to be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles.
  2. The Order will come into effect on 13 May 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 Days
  3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative route will be provided. 
  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable JB Riney on behalf of The London Borough of Bexley to enable highway improvements in Blackfen Road, Sidcup, the effects of which will be the introduction of: 
    • Prohibition of traffic on Blackfen Road from the junction Ramillies Road to the junction with Westerham Drive, Sidcup
    • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Blackfen Road from the junction Ramillies Road to the junction with Westerham Drive, Sidcup (both sides of the road)
  2. The Order will come into effect on 6 May 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 5 nights from 1900 to 0200.
  3. Whilst the works are in progress an alternative route will be provided via:
