Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025
Newick Close, Cranleigh Close, and Henfield Close, Bexley - Notice of Making an Order
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable M Group Ltd on behalf of Thames Water to undertake their Mains Replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on Newick Close, Bexley – entire road
- Prohibition of traffic on Cranleigh Close, Bexley – entire road
- Prohibition of traffic on Henfield Close, Bexley – entire road
- Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Newick Close, Bexley – entire road, both sides of the carriageway
- Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Cranleigh Close, Bexley – entire road, both sides of the carriageway
- Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Henfield Close, Bexley – entire road, both sides of the carriageway
- The Order will come into effect on 24 November 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 127 days.
- Whilst the works are in progress no diversion routes will be possible. Access for emergency services and residents is to be given when required.
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Iron Mill Lane, Crayford - Notice of Intention
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable SMOP Clean Tech on behalf of Aurora Utilities to install electrical ducting to feed new commercial site, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on Iron Mill Lane, Crayford from No. 230 to the junction with Thames Road, Crayford
- Cycle lane Suspension on Iron Mill Lane from outside 256 to the junction with Thames Road, Crayford
- The Order will come into effect on 27 November 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 23 days.
- Whilst the works are in progress, alternative routes will be via:
- Thames Road, Crayford Way, Maiden Lane, Mayplace Avenue
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Coton Road, Welling - Notice of Making an Order
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable M Group Ltd on behalf of Thames Water to install a new water connection, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on Coton Road from the junction with Upper Wickham Lane to No. 7 Coton Road, Welling
- Removal of the no-entry restriction and one-way restriction allowing two-way traffic from No 7 Coton Road to the junction with Edmund Road, Welling
- The Order will come into effect on 24 November 2025and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.
- Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:
- Upper Wickham Lane, Bellegrove Road, Edmund Road, and reverse
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 Notice of Application for Planning Permission which is a Major Development
Proposed development at: Ballast Wharf, West Street, Erith
I give notice that application is being made by Breakshore Ltd to the London Borough of Bexley Council for planning permission for:
- Application under Section 73 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to vary condition 21 (BREEAM) of planning permission 20/02477/FULM for the Application for a minor material amendment to increase the overall building height by a maximum of 1.5m and for the removal of car stackers, reduce parking and increase cycle provision to parent permission 08/11096/FULM. The parent permission being for a re-development of site to provide 54 apartments comprising one two-storey block and one six-storey block of 15 x 1 bed, 28 x 2 bed and 11 x 3 bed apartments incorporating a raised podium containing 48 car parking spaces and plant room. Provision of one commercial retail unit and provision of 1625 square metres of amenity open space.
