Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2026

The Grove, Sidcup - Notice of Making an Orde

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable a mains replacement by MGroup Water on behalf of Thames Water the effects of which will be the introduction of:

  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in The Grove for the entire length from the junction with High Beeches, Sidcup
  • No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) in The Grove for the entire length from the junction with High Beeches, Sidcup

2. The Order will come into effect on 26 May 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 147 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be available,

  • Access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable highway improvement works by a council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Upton Road South from the junction with Basing Drive to junction of Cross Lane, Bexley
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Finsbury Way at the junction with Upton Road South, Bexley
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Riverdale Road at the junction with Upton Road South, Bexley
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Love Lane at the junction with Upton Road South, Bexley
  • No waiting no loading (Parking restrictions) as detailed in schedule one of this order

2. The Order will come into effect on 2 June 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,

  • Upton Road South, Parkhurst Rd, Parkhill Rd, Riverdale Rd and reverse
  • Access to be maintained for Upton Road South, Finsbury Way, Riverdale Road and Love Lane, Bexley

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable M Group Water Ltd on behalf of Thames Water to undertake their water mains replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

  • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Royal Road, Sidcup entire length of the road both sides of the carriageway
  • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Maylands Drive, Sidcup entire length of the road both sides of the carriageway.

Restrictions to be removed when not required.

2. The Order will come into effect on 1 June 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 124 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be required.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable water mains installation by Mgroup Water on behalf of Thames Water the effects of which will be the introduction of:

•  Prohibition of traffic (Directional Road Closure) in Welling Way at the junction with Bellegrove Road, Welling

2. The Order will come into effect on 22 May 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 18 days.

3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via,

•  Bellegrove Road, Shooters Hill, Well Hall Road, Rochester Way

•  Bellegrove Road, Welling High Street, Park View Road, Danson Road, Danson Underpass, Blendon Road, East Rochester Way, Riefield Road, Rochester Way
