Church Road, Bexleyheath - Notice of Making an Order
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable installation of new electrical supply by Compass infrastructure on behalf of UK Power Networks, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic in Church Road, Bexleyheath from the rear of the bakery to the junction with the Broadway, Bexleyheath
- The Order will come into effect on 29 March 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
- Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
- Church Road, Belvedere Road – Long Lane – Erith Road – Mayplace Road West – Arnsberg Way – Broadway and reverse
- Broadway, Crook Log, Avenue Road, Pickford Lane, Long Lane, Belvedere Road, Church Road and Reverse
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Kimberley Drive, Onslow Drive and Goodwin Drive, Sidcup - Notice of Intention
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable MGroup Ltd on behalf of Thames Water to undertake their water mains replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on Kimberley Drive, Sidcup at and including the junction with Longmead Drive, Sidcup for 50 meters.
- Prohibition of traffic on Goodwin Drive, Sidcup at and including the junction with Longmead Drive, Sidcup for 50 meters.
- Prohibition of traffic on Onslow Drive, Sidcup at and including the junction with Longmead Drive, Sidcup for 50 meters.
- Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in roads detailed in Schedule One of this Order. These restrictions will be for 50 meters on both sides of the road at and including the junction with Longmead Drive, Sidcup until otherwise detailed in Schedule One of this Order.
- Restrictions to be removed when not required.
- The Order will come into effect on 2 April 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 234 days.
- Whilst the works are in progress localised diversions will be in place.
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable MGroup Ltd on behalf of Thames Water to undertake their water mains replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on Hollies Avenue, Sidcup from No. 7 to the junction with Halfway Street, Sidcup
- Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition in Hollies Avenue, Sidcup from No. 7 to the junction with Halfway Street, Sidcup
- The Order will come into effect on 7 April 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 17 days.
- Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable M Group Water Limited on behalf of Thames Water to undertake a new cross connection, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on Upton Road, Bexleyheath at the side of 337 Broadway to the junction of the Broadway.
- The Order will come into effect on 30 March 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 12 days.
- Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:
Westbound Diversion – Crook Log, Danson Road, around the roundabout back up Danson Road, Brook Log, Broadway Albion Road, Townley Road.

- Waiting restriction in Basing Drive, Bexley – entire length of the road both sides of the carriageway
- The Order will come into effect on 2 April 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 83 working days.
- Whilst the works are in progress no diversion routes will be provided as this is a dead-end road. Access to always be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles.

The Bexley (Sidcup Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. 11) Traffic Order 2026
- Notice is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 23 March 2026 made the above titled Traffic Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
- The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Order would be to amend the Bexley (Sidcup Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018:
- Remove the existing free Parking Bay in front of No. 60a Hatherley Road Sidcup.
- The removed bay will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of ’1pm and 3pm Monday to Friday’.
- Copies of the Order which becomes operational on 30 March 2026, the corresponding Parent Order (and the Orders that have amended those Orders); the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order and plan which indicate the length of roads to which the Order relates can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.
