Hatherley Crescent, Sidcup - Notice of Intention
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable highway improvement works by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on Hatherley Crescent, Sidcup, between No. 13 to No. 55 and the side of Tudor Court
- Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Hatherley Crescent, Sidcup between No. 13 to No. 55 and the side of Tudor Court
- The Order will come into effect on 9 December 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 8 days.
- Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:
- Station Road, Hurst Road, Footscray Lane, Faraday Road, and reverse.
- Station Road, High Street, Rectory Lane, The Drive, Lansdown Road, Alma Road and reverse.
- Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Montrose Avenue, Welling - Notice of Making an Order
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement work, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on Montrose Avenue, Welling
- The Order will come into effect on 13 November 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
- Whilst the works are in progress, alternative routes will be provided via:
- Westbound Traffic on Welling Way – Coniston Avenue and Montrose Avenue and vice versa
- Eastbound Traffic on Welling Way and Montrose Avenue via Coniston Avenue, Welling

- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable SMOP Clean Tech on behalf of Aurora Utilities to install electrical ducting to feed new commercial site, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on Iron Mill Lane, Crayford from No. 230 to the junction with Thames Road, Crayford
- Cycle lane Suspension on Iron Mill Lane from outside 256 to the junction with Thames Road, Crayford
- The Order will come into effect on 27 November 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 23 days.
- Whilst the works are in progress, alternative routes will be provided via:

- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable Forefront Ltd on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic on The View – entire road
- Waiting restriction and loading prohibition on The View – entire road, both sides of the carriageway
- The Order will come into effect on 8 December 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 weeks.

The Bexley (West Heath)(Parking Places) Experimental Traffic Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above titled Traffic Orders under Sections 6 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction)(West Heath) Experimental Traffic Order 2025 would be to:
- Introduce new ‘At any time’ no waiting restrictions in parts of:- Bedonwell Road, Burcharbro Road, Heath View Drive, Milford Close, Westergate Road, West Heath Road and Woolwich Road. .
- Introduce new Mon to Fri 10am to 4pm no waiting restrictions in parts of:- Bedonwell Road, Burcharbro Road, Heath View Drive, Milford Close, Westergate Road, West Heath Road and Woolwich Road.
The general effect of the Bexley (West Heath)(Parking Places) Experimental Traffic Order 2025 would be to: -- Introduce permit holder bays operating 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday to:
- Bedonwell Road, Burcharbro Road, Westergate Road, West Heath Road and Woolwich Road.
- Introduce Permit Parking Areas (PPA) operating 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday to:
- Heath View Drive, Milford Close
- Introduce lengths of limited waiting bays, operating 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday maximum stay of 4 hours, no return in 1 hour to
- Bedonwell Road and Woolwich Road

The Council will consider in due course whether the provisions of the Order should be reproduced and continued in force indefinitely by means of an Order under the provisions of section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. Anyone wishing to object to the making of an Order made under section 6 of the afore said Act for the purpose of such reproduction and continuation in force may send a statement of their objection and the grounds thereof to the London Borough of Bexley, Services and Programmes, Engineering Services, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT or traffic@bexley.gov.uk within 6 months of the date on which this Order comes into force. Any objection may be inspected by other persons who may be affected.
Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it has not been made within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order, may make application for the purpose to the High Court within the first six weeks of the date on which it came into force.
In pursuance of section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Deputy Director Public Protection, Housing and Public Realm), or some person authorised by him, if it appears to him or her or that other person essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic, for providing suitable parking, or for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road affected by these Orders run, may modify or suspend any provision of this Order, save that the effect of any such modification shall not make an addition to it.
