Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2026

Frinsted Road, Erith - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable the installation of a new water main by Galliford Try on behalf of Thames Water the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Frinsted Road between the junction of Beechfield Road and the junction of Twigg Close, Erith
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Frinsted Road between the junction of Stuart Mantle Way and the junction of Filby Close, Erith
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Frinsted Road between the junction of Filby Close and the junction of Birling Road, Erith
  1. The Order will come into effect on 1 June 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 18 months.
  2. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
  • Closure Between Beechfield Road and Twigg Close use diversion
    Frinsted Road, Stelling Road, Stuart Mantle Way and reverse
  • Closure Between Stuart Mantle Way and Filby Close use diversions
    Stuart Mantle Way, Stelling Road, Frinsted Road, Birling Road, Frinsted Road
    Frinsted Road, Birling Road, Colyers Lane, Ramsden Road, Frinsted Road, Stelling Road, Stuart Mantle Way, Frinsted Road
  • Closure Between Filby Close and Birling Road use diversion
    Birling Road, Frinsted Road, Stelling Road, Stuart Mantle Way, Frinsted Road and reverse.
  1. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  2. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Royal Road and Maylands Drive, Sidcup - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable M Group Water Ltd on behalf of Thames Water to undertake their water mains replacement works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Royal Road, Sidcup entire length of the road both sides of the carriageway
  • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Maylands Drive, Sidcup entire length of the road both sides of the carriageway.

Restrictions to be removed when not required.

  1. The Order will come into effect on 1 June 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 124 days.
  2. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be required.
  3. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  4. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Upton Road South, Finsbury Way, Riverdale Road, Love Lane, Bexley - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable highway improvement works by a council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Upton Road South from the junction with Basing Drive to junction of Cross Lane, Bexley
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Finsbury Way at the junction with Upton Road South, Bexley
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Riverdale Road at the junction with Upton Road South, Bexley
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Love Lane at the junction with Upton Road South, Bexley
  • No waiting no loading (Parking restrictions) as detailed in schedule one of this order
  1. The Order will come into effect on 2 June 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
  2. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
  • Upton Road South, Parkhurst Rd, Parkhill Rd, Riverdale Rd and reverse
  • Access to be maintained for Upton Road South, Finsbury Way, Riverdale Road and Love Lane, Bexley
  1. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  2. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Notification of an Application for Planning Permission within the Brook Street Conservation Area

I give notice that application is being made by Ms Ruhee to the London Borough of Bexley Council for planning permission for:

  • Erection of single storey side/rear wrap around extension
