Notice of Variation - Revised Charges for Controlled Parking Zone Permits
The Bexley (Off Street Parking Places) (Amendment No. X) Traffic Order 2023
- Notice is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above mentioned Order under sections 32, 35 and 124 of and Part III and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local government Act 1985, and all other enabling powers.
- The general effect of the Bexley (Off Street Parking Places) (Amendment No. X) Traffic Order 2023, would be to further amend the Bexley (Off Street Parking Places) Traffic Order 2020,
a) to introduce a definition for Eastside Quarter
b) to amend the Schedule Part III to enable season tickets for residents of Eastside Quarter to be available for use in the Albion Road multi-storey car park, Bexleyheath
c) to confirm the proposed charges for the season ticket - Copies of the proposed Order, the corresponding Parent Order (and the Orders that have amended that Order); the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, DA6 7AT.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2024
Riverdale Road, Bexley - Notice of Intention
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable gas mains replacement by JDT utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
• Prohibition of Traffic (road closure) on Riverdale Road, Bexley from the junction of Bridgen Road to junction of Upton Road as and when works require.
• No waiting no loading entire length of Riverdale Road, Bexley - The Order will come into effect on 15 April 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.
- Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
• Localised diversions will be sign posted - Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Castleton Avenue, Bexleyheath - Notice of Making an Order
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable the laying of a service pipe relay by Clean R&M - East South on behalf of Thames Water, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
• Prohibition of traffic (road closure) in Castleton Avenue from outside and opposite number 5 to outside and opposite number 42a
• No waiting, no loading (parking suspension) in Castleton Avenue from numbers 3 to 11, numbers 6 to 12, numbers 32 to 42 and numbers 33 to 45 - The Order will come into effect on 8 April 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 10 Days.
- Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
• Eversley Avenue – Beechcroft Avenue – Fairford Avenue and reverse
• Eversley Avenue – Downbank Avenue – Fairford Avenue and reverse - Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Church Road, Bexleyheath - Notice of Intention
- The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable installation of new electrical supply by Compass infrastructure on behalf of UK Power Networks they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
• Prohibition of traffic in Church Road, Bexleyheath at the junction with Broadway to junction with Belvedere Road
Works to be completed in phases
• Removal of the no entry restriction and one way restriction allowing two way traffic for access only in Queen Street when Church Road, Bexleyheath for the duration of these works - The Order will come into effect on 12 April 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 29 days.
- Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,
• Belvedere Road – Long Lane – Erith Road – Mayplace Road West – Arnsberg Way – Broadway Church Road and reverse - Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
- The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Notice of Variation - Revised Charges for Controlled Parking Zone Permits
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley, pursuant to section 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, intend to increase the permit charge at various Controlled Parking Zones within the London Borough of Bexley, with effect from 1 May 2024.
