Thames Road, Crayford - Notice of Intention

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable Walker Constructions (UK) Ltd, to undertake remedial works under a Section 278, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Cycle Lane suspension on the southern cycle path starting just west of the Thames Road roundabout with Burnham Road and Bob Dunn Way opposite the entrance to the Bexley Recycling Centre, Crayford.

2. The Order will come into effect on 22 July 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 5 weeks and 5 days.
3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be provided, cyclists to dismount.
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Kentish Road, Belvedere - Notice of Making an Order

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable installation of a water main by M Group Water on behalf of Thames Water, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic in Kentish Road from the junction with Abbey Crescent to the junction with Orchard Road, Belvedere
• No waiting no loading in Kentish Road from the junction with Abbey Crescent to the junction with Orchard Road, Belvedere

2. The Order will come into effect on 13 July 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 29 days.
3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via,

• Kentish Road, Picardy Road, Abbey Crescent and reverse.
• Orchard Road, Lessness Park, Heron Hill, St Augustine’s Road, Gilbert Road, Picardy Street, Picardy Road, Abbey Crescent and reverse

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Gresham Close, Bexley - Notice of Making an Order

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable Mains replacement by M Group Water on behalf of Thames Water, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) for the entire length of Gresham Close, Bexley
• No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) for the entire length of Gresham Close, Bexley

2. The Order will come into effect on 13 July 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 71 days.
3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be available

• Access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that, to enable M Group on behalf of Thames Water to install a new water connection, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

• Prohibition of traffic on Colyers Lane, Erith at the side of 371-375 Bexley Road, Erith
• Banned right turn on Barnehurst Avenue, Erith at the junction with Colyers Lane, Erith

2. The Order will come into effect on 27 July 2026 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.
3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via:

• Bexley Road, Avenue Road, Ramsden Road, Colyer’s Lane.
• Erith Road, Merewood Road, Eversley Avenue, Hurstwood Avenue, Colyer’s Lane.

4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
