The electoral register (which is also known as the register of electors, the electoral roll and the voters' roll) lists the names and addresses of everyone who's registered to vote.

There are two versions of the electoral register - the full register and the open (edited) register. The open register can be bought and sold by anyone, usually for direct marketing purposes. It is your choice if you appear on the open register or just the full register.

By default, you will appear on the open register unless you opt out. You will be given the option to opt out when you apply to register to vote. You can subsequently opt out of appearing on the open register at any time.

Remove my details from the open register does not affect your right to vote or negatively affect your credit score.

Public Inspection of the Electoral Register

The electoral register is available for public inspection under supervision at Bexleyheath Central Library, 2 Townley Road, Bexleyheath, DA6 7HL.

The electoral register is also available for public inspection under supervision at the Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent, DA6 7AT between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm on normal working days.
