What to do if things go wrong

In Bexley, we want young adults leaving our care to be well supported. If you feel something has gone wrong, we want you to tell us, so we can try and put it right as quickly as possible.

We will provide or let you nominate someone neutral to speak to us about any concerns you have and ensure you have the information you need to contact them.

get in contact

If you are not happy with your social worker/PA, either you or an adult you trust will be able to contact their manager easily and arrange a meeting with them to discuss your concerns.

The manager will get back to you within 2 working days and give a timeframe for responding to the issues you have raised.

We will provide information about how to access support from an Advocate or how to make a complaint if you would like to do this via complaints@bexley.gov.uk. An Advocate is someone who can talk to you about what is upsetting you and then they discuss it with us. They will be acting on your behalf. If you would like an Advocate, we can organise this for you. Or, if you prefer, you can contact Coram Voice on 0808 800 5792 or email help@coramvoice.org.uk.
