To celebrate International Women’s Day (8 March) this year, Bexley will be recognising the work done to progress gender equality and inclusion in Bexley.
The Council is calling on residents to tell us about women and businesses who have made exceptional contributions towards gender equality and empowerment which is in line with this year’s theme #InspireInclusion.
The nominees will be officially recognised for their nomination and the winners will be awarded on the 8 March by the Mayor.
Nominations for the awards are now officially open. Nominees can be anyone who lives, works, or studies in Bexley, aged 16 plus.
Councillor Sue Gower MBE - Cabinet Member for Communities & Housing said:
