Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2024

Gas Mains Replacement Scheme various roads in Bexley - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable JDT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Main Replacement Works, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic (road closure) in Banwell Road Junction Blendon Road
  • No waiting no loading (parking restrictions) in Banwell Road from junction Blendon Road to outside number 5 Banwell Road both sides of carriageway
  • Prohibition of traffic (road closure) Blendon Drive junction Blendon Road
  • No waiting no loading (parking restrictions) in Blendon Drive junction Blendon Road to side of 81 Blendon Drive both sides of carriageway.
  • Prohibition of traffic (road closure) in Beechway Junction Blendon Road
  • No waiting no loading (parking restrictions) in Beechway junction Blendon Road to side of 111 Beechway both sides of carriageway
  • No waiting no loading (parking restrictions) in Blendon Road from 101 to junction with Bridgen Road
  1. The Order will come into effect on 11 March 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 6 weeks.
  2. Whilst the works are in progress
  • Banwell Road road closure
  • Woodside Lane – Blendon Road and reverse
  • Blendon Drive road closure
  • Blendon Road – Elmwood Drive – The Drive and reverse
  • Beechway road closure
  • Blendon Road – The Drive and reverse
  1. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  2. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Heath Way, Erith - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable the installation of a new telecoms pole by Sunbelt Rental on behalf of Openreach, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic in Heath Way from number 26 to the junction of West Holme
  1. The Order will come into effect on 11 March 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
  2. Whilst the works are in progress, an alternate route will be provided via
  • Barnehurst Avenue – Colyers Lane – Heath Way and reverse
  1. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  2. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Collindale Avenue, Erith - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable a service pipe repair by Thames Water, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic in Collindale Avenue from junction Camrose Avenue to junction Brantwood Avenue
  1. The Order will come into effect on 11 March 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 5 working days.
  2. Whilst the works are in progress an alternative route will be provided via
  • Collindale Avenue – Camrose Avenue – Cavendish Avenue – Brantwood Avenue – Collindale Avenue and reverse
  1. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
  2. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015

Proposed development at: Land To The Rear Of, 44 Erith High Street, Erith

I give notice that application is being made by Mr K Singh to the London Borough of Bexley Council for planning permission for:

Application under Section 73 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to vary Condition 2 (approved drawings) of planning permission 18/03247/FULM for: Erection of one 4/5 storey building comprising 3 x 3 bed and 10 x 2 bed flats and a commercial unit. Provision of associated amenity space, refuse and cycle storage areas and car parking within the lower ground floor, in order to change the layout of the lower ground floor to include additional internal walls and doors, repositioning of commercial cycle spaces, reduction of car parking spaces from 12 to 10, repositioning of plant room and external shutter door, and addition of internal pillars.

The Bexley (Waiting & Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 25) Traffic Order 2024

The Bexley (Loading Places) (Amendment No. 4) Traffic Order 2024

Notice is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 4 March 2024 made above-mentioned Traffic Orders under section 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling,

The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 25) Traffic Order 2024 would be to amend waiting and loading restrictions on Broadway and Albion Road, Bexleyheath to introduce and control activity at loading places also proposed in this notice. Further details follow:

  1. Introduce no waiting 7am to 9.30am and 4pm to 6.30pm on the north side of Albion Road east of its junction with Highland Road.
  2. Introduce no loading 7am to 9.30am and 4pm to 6.30pm on the north side of Albion Road as in item (b) above. The general effect of the Bexley (Loading Places) (Amendment No. 4) Traffic Order 2024 would be to propose a new loading place on Albion Road as follows:
  3. Introduce a goods vehicle loading place at times other than 7am to 9.30am and 4pm to 6.30pm on the north side of Albion Road east of its junction with Highland Road.

The above measures are proposed in conjunction with the major retail and residential development called Eastern Quarter.

Copies of the Order which becomes operational on 11 March 2024, the corresponding Parent Order (and the Orders that have amended that Order); the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order and plans which indicate the length of roads to which the Order relates can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

Notice is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 4 March 2024 made the above titled Traffic Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
  2. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Orders would be to amend the Bexley (Falconwood Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018
  • Remove the existing Resident Permit Parking Bay in front of No. 77 Lingfield Crescent
  • The parking bay which currently operates between 10am and 11pm, Monday to Friday will be replaced with a single yellow line restriction of '10am and 11pm Monday to Friday’
  • There is a loss of a single parking place
