Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2024

Queens Road and Bexley Road, Erith - Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable Installation of electricity cable by Riverside Energy Park Limited, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road closure) Queens Road from junction with fish roundabout to South Road, Erith
  • Banned Turning Movements on Queens Road, Erith preventing ingress an egress on James Watt Way, Erith
  • Prohibition of traffic (Road closure) Bexley Road , from junction with Fraser Road to junction with Victoria Road, Erith
  1. The Order will come into effect on 2 April 2024 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Hereby Give Notice that an order has been made, to enable the connection of new electricity supply by Compass Infrastructure on behalf of UK Power Networks by, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
  • Prohibition of traffic (road closure) of Ightham Road, Erith junction with Bedonwell Road, Belvedere
  • Prohibition of traffic (road closure) of Hythe Avenue, Bexleyheath junction with Bedonwell Road, Belvedere

The Bexley (Car Club) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. X) Traffic Order 2024

  1. Notice is Hereby Given that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley proposes to make the above mentioned Traffic Orders under section 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling,
  2. The general effect of the Bexley (Car Club) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. X) Traffic Order 2021 would be to introduce a new car club parking place for one vehicle in Selborne Road, Sidcup as follows:
  • Introduce one car club bay in the Access Road to Old Farm Avenue Car Park near to its junction with Old Farm Avenue, this will operate at all times
