Apply for or renew a parking permit

To apply for anything other than a Blue Badge, you'll need to create a permit account online. It only takes a few minutes to register and you won’t need to do it again for future permit applications or renewals.

Please enter your vehicle registration correctly and be careful not to mix up the letters ‘I’ and ‘O’ with the numbers ‘1’ and ‘0’.

Create an account

Once you’ve got an account, you can use it to apply for:

  • Residents’ parking permits
  • Business parking permits
  • car park season tickets
  • scratch cards for visitors’ parking
  • Dispensation or suspension (permission to park in a controlled area for a time)

See permit and season ticket charges

Visitor scratch cards are not included in the e-permit scheme – paper scratch cards are issued and should be validated in the normal way by scratching off the correct day, date and month. The voucher must then be displayed on the dashboard of the vehicle so that the details are visible from the outside. The vouchers are valid for one day only and for use only in the zone applied for.

After the application process has been successfully completed, the scratch cards will be posted out first class.
