Better mental health and wellbeing this winter

Looking after our mental health and wellbeing is key to living a happy, healthy life. It can help us sleep better, feel more balanced and build stronger relationships.

Simple actions like staying active, connecting with loved ones and neighbours, learning something new, or volunteering your time can all support a healthy mind.

If you or someone you care about is finding things difficult this winter or beyond, help and guidance are available. You’re not alone.

Stay strong, get vaccinated.

Vaccinations are our best protection against flu and COVID-19. Over the last few years, they have kept tens of thousands of people out of hospital and helped to save countless lives.

In winter, flu and COVID-19 spread more easily as we spend more time indoors. Getting these vaccines ahead of winter are two of the most important things you can do to keep yourself and others around you safe and winter strong.

Some people may be eligible for both the flu and the COVID-19 vaccines at the same appointment. If you are offered both vaccines, it is safe to have them at the same time.

Visit NHS for more information on flu vaccines
