Top tips for your interview

  • Re-read the Job Description for the role and research the organisation. Find out as much as you can to ensure confidence in why you want to work for Bexley and why you want the job.
  • Make sure you know what you have put in your application form.
  • It is always good practice to prepare some questions for your interview. Not only does this show that you have an interest in the role, but it also gives you a chance to gain more insight.
  • Don’t forget to bring any documentation that you are asked to provide.
  • Make sure you plan your journey so that you are on time.

The use of AI in your application and selection process

AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) can help refine ideas, research public information, check spelling and grammar, and prepare for interviews with mock questions. However, your application must reflect your own experience and ideas. Before submission, you will confirm that all information is true and accurate.

Plagiarism, including copying online content or using AI-generated material without personal input, may lead to withdrawal of your application at any stage.

Do not use AI to invent or exaggerate skills, create generic responses, or answer questions during live interviews or assessments. These stages are your opportunity to present an authentic picture of your abilities.
