What's on for youth (8 to 16)
School Holiday Programme (ages 8 to 16)
Learn the basics of at least 2 different sports throughout the day, through learning some techniques and playing games. Maximum 12 participants per group (we can have multiple groups at one time). Sports can include, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, bell boating, bouldering, stand up paddle boarding all depending on the weather conditions. Book either a full week or individual days.

2-hour Paddlesports Session (ages 8 to 16)
A 2-hour session in one of our paddle craft, developing your technique and paddling skills through games and paddling around the lake. Maximum 12 participants per group (we can have multiple groups at one time). Sports will either be kayaking, canoeing, bell boating or stand up paddleboarding all depending on the weather conditions.
Morning Sail Session
(ages 8 to 16) – must have at least RYA Stage 2
A 3-hour session in one of our sailing boats (some you may have not sailed before), develop your sailing skills, practice what you have already learnt, get introduced to some new skills and advanced topics like racing. Maximum 8 participants per group.

RYA Stage Sailing Courses (ages 8 to 16)
A structured course with certificates at the end, work from Stage 1 to Stage 4 to gain all the skills needed to be able to sail dinghies safely and become an independent sailor.

RYA Youth Stage 1 (2-day course)
Gives a basic understanding of how to handle the boat, steering and wind awareness.
RYA Youth Stage 2 (2-day course)
Focusing on basic sailing skills, ropework, controlling boat speed and capsize recovery.
RYA Youth Stage 3 (2-day course)
Improved rigging, sailing theory, launching and recovery. Building confidence in a range of sailing techniques on all points of sail and capsize recovery.
RYA Youth Stage 4 (2-day course)
Transferring pre-learnt skills, techniques, and manoeuvres to sail crewed boats, enhance rigging, launching, recovery and practical skills to recover a man overboard.
PaddleUK Discover Kayaking Course (ages 8 plus)
Develop your decision-making and practical skills for a fun and safe time on the water, taking you on the next steps towards becoming a proficient and independent paddler.

Youth Sailing Skills Booster Sessions (Need RYA Stage 1)
Develop your sailing skills, practice what you have already learnt, get introduced to some new skills and advanced topics. Maximum 8 participants per group.
Family Paddlesports Session (ages 8 plus)
A 2-hour session with a mix of activities for the whole family, learn and develop skills through games. Maximum 12 participants per group (we can have multiple groups at one time). Sports can include, kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding all depending on the weather conditions. Both the children and adult must participate in the session on the water.
