14. Appendix F: Summary of consultation responses

As required by the Pharmaceutical Regulations 2013, Bexley HWB held a consultation on the draft PNA for at least 60 days, from 10 February to 13 April 2025.

The draft PNA was hosted on the Bexley council website and invitations to review the assessment, and comment, were sent to a wide range of stakeholders including all community pharmacies in Bexley. A range of public engagement groups in Bexley as identified by the Steering Group were invited to participate in the consultation.

Responses to the consultation were possible via an online survey or email. Paper copies and alternative formats were also available under request.

There were in total 12 responses, all of them from the internet survey. Responses received:

  • 8 (67%) from members of the public
  • 2 (17%) from pharmacies in Bexley
  • 1 (8%) from the Local Medical Committee in Bexley
  • 1 (8%) from a neighbouring area: London Borough of Bromley

All responses were considered by the PNA Steering Group at its meeting on Monday 9 June 2025 for the final report. A number of additional comments were received that were considered by the Steering Group in the production of the final PNA and are included in Appendix G.

From the 12 responses, six responded to the question about agreement with the conclusions of Bexley Draft 2025 PNA. Three respondents agreed and three didn’t know / couldn’t say. None disagreed.
