Two tier car park season tickets
There are two tiers for car park season ticket tariffs:
- Local tier: only Bexley residents who are employed locally within the London Borough of Bexley can apply for this tier
- Standard tier: this tier applies to all other applicants
Employees applying for the local tier must provide supportive evidence confirming they live within the borough and are employed by a business located within the borough. One of each of the following types of evidence must be provided:
Proof of address within the borough (utility bill dated within the last three months), such as:
- TV Licence
- Home insurance
- Council Tax bill (most recent)
Proof of employment within the borough:
- a letter on headed paper from their manager
- a wage slip (please do not send originals and remove personal data as you see fit)
- or anything else that confirms their employment is within the borough
We no longer issue paper parking permits - instead approved applications result in electronic vehicle cover from the date specified. Civil Enforcement Officers on patrol can access details of the permit for verification purposes through their handheld computers. All other terms and conditions that apply to each permit type remain unchanged.
Visitor scratch cards
Visitor scratch cards are not included in the e-permit scheme – paper scratch cards are issued and should be validated in the normal way by scratching off the correct day, date and month. The voucher must then be displayed on the dashboard of the vehicle so that the details are visible from the outside. The vouchers are valid for one day only and for use only in the zone applied for.
After the application process has been successfully completed, the scratch cards can be collected within two working days from either the Civic Offices (Bexleyheath) or any Bexley library – proof of ID will be required. If the scratch cards have not been collected within this period, they will be posted out first class.
