In an exciting step forward, Bexley’s Economic Growth Strategy, the Council’s vision and action plan for achieving future prosperity in the Borough, was warmly received by partners and potential investors at an event in Rose Bruford College held earlier this year (23 March).
Building on a decade of success in jobs, development and infrastructure, the new strategy "Ready for tomorrow, growing for a better future", sets out how Bexley will deliver inclusive growth.
The strategy highlights our Borough’s strengths and how these can be built on and developed to support good growth in the future.
Its aim is to make sure Bexley is the best place to live, work and raise a family and it focuses on how the Council will work with more partners from across all sectors and with investors to make this happen.

The Council is now finalising the associated action plan which will set out priority projects over the next five years to deliver the identified growth objectives. However, it has already started implementation, publishing the associated cultural strategy, holding discussions with potential developers and targeting events and other opportunities to promote the Borough including a major Bexley investor event in the Borough this Autumn.
