8. Governance, Accountability and Partnership

Governance arrangements include:

  • Children’s & Partnership Board — monthly oversight for early years and prevention programmes.
  • Transformation Board — monthly updates on programme transformation.
  • DfE grant reporting — initial report in April 2026 and quarterly returns thereafter.

Operationally, a project team within School Improvement leads mobilisation, using weekly agile sprints, with a BSiL Lead to be recruited in April 2026 to oversee ongoing delivery.

Partners include:

  • SEL ICB and Integrated Neighbourhood Teams.
  • Children’s Services, SEND, Early Years and Education Improvement.
  • Community organisations and Family Hubs.
