4. Brand values and identity
The Bexley Community Safety Partnership (BCSP) was established in 1996 prior to the implementation of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, which places a duty on key bodies to work together to reduce crime. The BCSP’s objective is to reduce crime and its impact, while increasing community safety, cohesion and resilience.
Ultimately, the BCSP aims to improve the quality of life for the Borough's residents by making them feel safer. This includes ensuring accessible and effective communication, so that residents know what is happening in their borough, what support is available and how to access it, and feel that their voice is valued.
It is essential that the BCSP adopt a single, unified and compelling identity that encapsulates the vision and aims outlined. We will listen to residents and businesses, and we will commit to the delivery of our communications plan in an accessible and visible format.
