11. Resources
The BCSP recognises that this Plan is being created in a time where resources of all partners are limited. Therefore, we will endeavour to deliver the communication plan utilising existing resources in a strategic, creative way. This means sharing resources and funding to invest in materials and deliver messages that are shared by all partners.
External funding will be explored where partner funding is unable to cover the costs.
Resources which may need to be funded in delivery against this Plan may include:
- print material such as leaflets, flyers and posters
- digital marketing such as screen hire, social media advert placement, social media monitoring
- personal safety material for use in outreach, such as personal alarms, purse bells, pen markers
- events costs such as hall hire, speaker/trainer fees, refreshments
The BCSP communications should be reliable. This means that statutory partners’ print materials should be current and up-to-date, and digital media such as websites and social media, should adopt clear and routine communications, where residents can easily access the information they need.
