As we start to think about Christmas, Bexley’s Foster Carer recruitment team have just one festive wish - for more Foster Carers!

The ‘All I want for Christmas’ campaign launches on 18 November It has been designed to inspire people to think about offering their homes and hearts to children and to highlight the urgent need for foster families.

Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, Cllr Philip Read said:

All we want for Christmas is foster carers who can provide our children and young people with loving homes and the care and attention they need to have a happy and fulfilling childhood.

We are reminded as the holidays get near that many children need a stable family and you could be that person!

Bexley Fostering will be organising events, coffee mornings and information sessions throughout the holiday season to support the campaign.

The events will provide information about how to become a foster carer, offering guidance and assistance to anyone thinking about fostering.
