The Mayor of Bexley attending a magical lantern workshop at Hall Place
The workshop was filled with smiles, laughter, and creativity

To mark a wonderful finale to Bexley Fostering Week, children were invited by Hall Place Bexley and community arts organisation Same Sky to take part in a very special creative workshop.

During the session, the children designed and decorated their own teacup lanterns, which will form part of Alice and the Queen’s Beasts, a magical lantern light trail created by Same Sky and hosted at Hall Place this November.

The workshop was filled with smiles, laughter, and creativity, giving the children a chance to contribute to a public artwork that will enchant visitors later this year. They were joined by the Mayor of Bexley, who celebrated alongside them.

A spokesperson from Bexley Fostering said:

This was such a wonderful way to end Bexley Fostering Week."

It gave our children something truly special to enjoy and create together, and we can’t wait to see their lanterns lighting up the trail."

Bexley Fostering extends heartfelt thanks to Hall Place and to Paul from Same Sky for making this memorable opportunity possible.

The Alice and the Queen’s Beasts lantern trail opens to the public this November at Hall Place, inviting visitors into a world of light, imagination, and wonder.
