Fostering
A wonderful Fostering Fun Day was held in Danson Park on 17 August.

Children and families, including families of current foster carers, new foster carers and those in the process of becoming carers, played games, took part in arts and crafts and enjoyed a tasty picnic.

Parents were able to discuss their various foster care experiences with one another, which also helped our new applicants learn and understand more about fostering and develop relationships with other experienced foster carers. Children and young people participated in various activities, making some new friends and a lot of memories.

The event not only provided an opportunity for strengthening community relationships, but it also underlined the value of shared laughter and enjoyment in a relaxed environment.
