Bexley Fostering organised a special day at Joss Bay beach for foster carers and children

On Friday 8 August, Bexley Fostering brought smiles, sunshine, and seaside joy to local foster children and their carers with a special day out at the beautiful Joss Bay beach in Kent.

Over 40 foster carers, children, and their families, along with dedicated support staff, enjoyed a fun-filled day at the beach. The event was brimming with activities,  from lively beach games and sandcastle building to a shared picnic lunch and plenty of splashing in the sea.

The trip was part of Bexley Fostering’s ongoing commitment to creating joyful, lasting memories for children in care, while recognising and supporting the foster families who generously open their hearts and homes.

Bexley Fostering continues to recruit dedicated foster carers across the borough. If you have a spare room and a big heart, you can make a life-changing difference to a child in need.
