The London Borough of Bexley has secured an £800,000 extension of funding through the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) for the period from April 2025 to March 2026.
This funding is intended to enhance town centres and high streets while supporting small, independent businesses throughout the borough. Business support is delivered under the Talking Business brand, which provides tailored services to help local enterprises grow and thrive.

Support for High Street Businesses
The Talking Business programme offers two core support services, which are outlined below.
The first is aimed at retail and hospitality businesses based in Bexley’s town centres and high streets. This service is delivered by Retail Revival, whose team of expert advisors offers one-to-one support, along with access to a comprehensive online platform. Businesses that have previously received support through the Talking Business programme are not eligible for further assistance under this service.

Delivered by CNT Associates at The Engine House Bexley, this service includes webinars, group workshops, and one-to-one advisory sessions. Topics include finance, e-commerce, and support for women-led businesses.

Businesses in Bexley are eligible to access one of the two services offered through the Talking Business programme. If your business does not meet the eligibility criteria or has already accessed Talking Business support and requires further assistance, the following initiatives may be of assistance:
